The World's Most Interesting Hole

from $40.00

The Par-5 13th at Tobacco Road is one of Mike Strantz’s wildest creations. I’m talking you can either have a 3 wood into this green if you play safe, or a simple 9 iron if you cut the corner with a bombed drive over the trees. But the wackiness doesn’t stop there. This green is one of the skinniest and most hidden greens I’ve ever witnessed. It sits behind 2 huge dunes that cause you to not even be able to see the green you’re hitting into. The flagstick on this hole is extra tall so you can see where the hole is located when hitting your approach shot into the green. And on top of that, you’ve got a road with cars driving by about 10 yards behind the green. And did I already mention there’s not but about 10-15 paces worth of green to work with from back to front??? This hole kicks my butt every time I play it, but man oh man it is one of the most beautiful and unique holes you’ll ever come across.
